This is the beach in front of Pointe Santo de Sanibel. The waves were pretty big and people were having fun playing in them. The temp in the Gulf is 88*

Today we had to be off island for most of the day so we ended up taking this video from one of the causeway spoil islands. This was just after sunset looking out over San Carlos Bay and Pine Island Sound. It was pretty warm here today, 87* and we probably missed a really good beach day. The water in the Gulf is up to 85* now. There were clouds all around the island but we had a dome of blue sky and sunshine over the island.
